(Grasso Coffee has since moved to The Commerz and ceased operations at Blk 248 Simei Street 3. Updated address at the end of the post.)
Don’t be fooled by how it looks; Grasso Coffee had been operating in Simei for quite a while already, only having been recently renovated to bring a more hipster look to the previously plain interior to attract more customers.
Seemingly an outpost for Simei residents to grab-and-go, the small shop space offers a large menu ranging from Espresso-based drinks to Traditional Local drinks such as Kopi, Teh, Yuan Yang etc and even a huge list of Ice-Blended drinks. The food menu is also varied, with a few cakes and sandwiches to choose from to takeaway.
(Flat White)
We weren’t too drawn to the food so we decided to try the coffee out. The Flat White had a tinge of nuttiness which was distinct and fragrant. It was also milky and creamy and seemed rather smooth; a quality that easily matches up with cafe-standards which was rather surprising.
It’s little wonder how Grasso Coffee can stay in this quiet estate for such a long duration; the coffee is brilliant and it also fits in to customers of all ages by serving both Espresso-based and Traditional Coffee. A favourite with Simei residents, this is a likely spot I would drop by if I am in the area for some quality coffee.

Nice, the sandwiches are so reasonably priced as well. Will definitely check this out when I’m in Simei area. Thanks for sharing!
