With the shopping arcade of One Raffles Place kicking start in operations, many eateries have also sprouted up in the basement, creating more choices for the office workers in the area.
JAB Handcrafted Shots is a new kiosk that had started operations within the newly opened One Raffles Place. Focusing on takeaway coffee, they use Toby’s Estate blends for their coffee, as well as offering teas from T2. Also worthy to note is the Kees Van Der Westen Spirit Duette; the machine which is also used at Necessary Provisions.
One thing I like about JAB Handcrafted Shots is the flexibility on customising your cuppa. They have several choices of milk, and also allow for preferences on the type of sugar for your coffee. For my Flat White, I went with usual milk without addition of sugar. It had a fruity and acidic body and a nutty finish to it.
At $5.00 for a regular cup of Flat White, JAB Handcrafted Shots does seem a bit pricey for a daily cuppa, but I guess the price is generally around there for coffee in the CBD. Nonetheless, it is a convenient spot to grab one and go for some good coffee.
