(One Shot Coffee has since moved to 120 Robinson Road; updated address at the end of the post below.)
With the cafe culture going strong, kiosks have been opening all around the CBD area to serve the needs of the office workers around.
One Shot Coffee is a new kiosk that had recently opened at Prudential Towers. A fully takeaway kiosk, there is no counter seating, though the best bet for unofficial seating would be the courtyard beside the tower itself.
(Bacon & Egg Panini)
The Panini here are supplied by Sarnies, which serves up pretty good sandwiches. The Bacon & Egg Panini holds up Sarnies’ reputation well; a toasted upon order sandwich with crispy Panini that was not too thick so it goes rather light on the stomach. Lightly sprinkled with pepper for that hint of spice and a spread that seemed to suggest a bit of tomatoes involved, it was refreshing and satisfying as the egg was tasty and the bacon was crispy and just of the right savouriness. A sandwich that is fit for both breakfast or a quick lunch.
They serve two blends of coffee here; one from Sarnies and the other from Highlander. The default one they would serve would be the Highlander, though they would gladly serve the Sarnies one if requested like this one I had. The Sarnies blend was significantly stronger but was chocolatey with a punch; great for a Flat White.
While most of the food items here are supplied, the food seems to remain fresh and tasty. Although it is something I would not mind to have for breakfast daily, prices seem to be on a high side as a cup of coffee and a sandwich would set you off $14 poorer. But with such great food, it is hard to say …
