As a coffee lover, I had always enjoyed having different blends of coffee within cafes. Most cafes usually rely on blends being supplied by other vendors, however there are also a few that does their own blends.
I would not call Dutch Colony Coffee Co – cafe rightfully for several reasons. Firstly it is just a stall within Pasarbella, which is more of a Farmer’s Market. Secondly they do brew their own blends and sell them within the small stall area, which makes it seem more like a supplier instead. Nevertheless, it is still definitely a place which brews their own blends that is exclusively served, which makes me eager to try them out.
(Long Black – Dutch Blend)
The Dutch blend was the only blend available that day, which was described as robust and strong. It was indeed strong as each sip just adds on to each other. The blend itself is mildly acidic, however it is somewhat acceptable for people who enjoy nuttier blends as well.
Dutch Colony Coffee Co. has somewhat got me hooked every time when I visit Pasarbella, especially with the wafting scent of coffee that welcomes you as you pass by. Having tried their coffee, I could probably say that it certainly makes the cut as a place I would definitely visit again. Couple your coffee with various cakes or even dessert pies supplied by Windowsill Pies available at the counter, or even just grab some bakes from the various stalls. This definitely would make for a great stopover if coffee is your pill for your energy recharge before going around Pasarbella again.
